Linnéskolan is a municipal school for grades 7-9. The school is centrally located in Älmhult, and its students come from all over the municipality. The school currently has approximately 610 students and is expected to grow continuously over the coming years.

The school also has an adapted primary school for grades 7-9 and Orion, which is our program for students with diagnoses within NPF.

We have good teacher qualifications, and our students leave school with a high degree of eligibility for upper secondary school.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a teacher to teach Swedish and Swedish as a second language for grades 7-9 at Linnéskolan. As a subject teacher, you will plan, implement, evaluate, and develop the educational work based on the goals of the organization together with your colleagues. This position includes work in our study room, and you will have the opportunity to develop it. Here, you will work with students in smaller groups.

In each work team, we have employed full-time mentors who work closely with the students and support them in their social development. The mentor's task also includes holding development conversations. This allows you as a teacher to focus on the educational assignment. Therefore, your role as a teacher does not include mentorship.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed primary school teacher with qualifications to teach English, Swedish, and Swedish as a second language for grades 7-9.

As a person, you are solution-focused, creative, and pedagogical. You have clear leadership and work towards ensuring that each individual student can develop and work towards their goals.

We also value that you are flexible, responsible, and have a strong commitment to your professional role. Furthermore, you thrive in collaborating with others, including colleagues, students, and guardians.

For the position, good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required. You also have knowledge of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and work well according to our curriculum.
